Welcome to the most funParty of the year.
How it works
You arrive in a Wig.
We eat, drink, and hang out while observing each other’s Wigs (aka, the competition).
Wig Snatching begins promptly at 4:30pm.
Winners will be Awarded with treasures.
Doors close at 8pm.

What to bring:
Obviously - yourself wearing a competitor-worthy Wig.
Contribute: We are a Team so bring drinks, food, snacks, and anything else you’d like to share with the party.

What it is —> A casual, yet hilariously themed party, hosted at my house because why not?! Wig Snatching party with friends? Yes please.
Who it’s for —> You, if hanging out on a Sunday afternoon with friends in silly wigs seems like a good idea. I have invited both my doula team from The APPD (hi, you’re on the site now) and members of CMMA.
Doulas + Jiu jitsu grapplers vying for the Title of Wig Snatching Lord?! Why yes, you’ve got that right - it’s going to be very fun.
Why people love it —> It’s a way to let loose, be the weirdo you truly are, and hang out with your friends outside of ‘work’. We’ll have prizes too. There’s a disco ball as well - must I say more?
BONUS: Includes very unique bonding moments and memories you will hold for years to come. Yes, there will be live documentation occurring on-site so we never forget what happens. (Priceless value)

nitty grity: this ain’t no regular party
Party at The Castle
What is a Wig Snatching Party? —> Preview here and ignite your creativity to activate your Wig of choice. (How bold will you be?!)
Are kids allowed? —> Yes. We will have a bounce house set up and The Castle is a baby/kid-friendly home. Note that adult beverages will be consumed, wig snatching rounds may become rough, and adults will be adulting. Wig Snatch at your own risk - we will all do our best to watch the littles.
Why should I attend? —> There are not many events where we get to hang out outside jiu jitsuing and doulaing. This is the opportunity -grab it by the horns. You will not regret this.
Is this BYOB/BYOF? —> Yes. Community contributing is lovely and something I find brings us together. I’ll be providing a car full of Costco finds of alcohol, foods, games, and whatever sorcery-jumbo-wild-toys I find when I shop there for the Party. I’ll also provide outdoor games and probably a jiu jitsu mat for our Wig Snatching Throne area. As we know, Safety is key.

I'm a retired Cirque du Soleil acrobat and NCAA Hall of Fame Athlete turned postpartum doula & agency owner.
When not spending time with my kids, I'm training jiu jitsu or CEO-ing at The APPD. Our Team has supported over 150+ families in the Metro Atlanta and that number is rapidly growing. The mission we have is to Revolutionize Postpartum care in the US and we’re doing a damn good job at it so far.
Hosting this party is a bridge to connect my two favorite worlds — I hope to see you there!
