Founded in 2020, The APPD has supported hundreds of families across Metro Atlanta. With a deeply rooted network of birth professionals and highly personalized client care, we provide an elevated and exclusive postpartum experience that helps families feel deeply supported, rested, and seen.

Hi! Thank you for your interest in joining our team. I’m a retired Cirque du Soleil Acrobat, NCAA Hall of Fame Athlete & Certified Postpartum Doula, & Level 2 Expansion Principle Practitioner for energy healing. I know a teeny bit about working with a successful team to produce high-level results.
And now, I’m building an exclusive Team for serving families in ATL.
Using my decades plus expertise in recovering, I educate and support families to heal faster after labor, birth, & during postpartum.
Not only do I guide families to optimal wellness, I also provide classes, trainings, and events for doulas and agency owners. All my offerings can be viewed here.

Prompt communication on a weekly, sometimes daily basis with me and team members.
Autonomous and reliable in scheduling client interviews and client sessions.
Display efficient organizational skills, managing time effectively for multiple clients and appointments.
Commit to continuous professional development, staying informed about the latest research and best practices in postpartum care.
Actively pursuing or already certified in a relevant field.

Understand and connect with the emotional needs of new parents during the postpartum period.

*Please note: At this time, we’re specifically looking for Certified Postpartum Doulas who are fully committed to supporting families through 4–8+ week contracts.
Agency Requirements:
Please note, this is an Independent Contractor position
• Be certified as a Postpartum Doula
• 3+ years experience as a PPD or a closely-related field
• Carry private liability insurance
• Have reliable transportation
• Hold current Infant CPR Certification
• Clear Background Check
